I have bone straight hair. Well it gets frizzy thanks to all the bleaching and coloring that I do, but it is so straight that I can’t do much with it. My daughter on the other hand has crazy curly hair. My son had a bit of it when he was a baby, but of course we keep his short now so you don’t see the curls. My daughter’s hair on the other hand is something I am not used to fixing. Now we can keep curls under control with Curl Keeper products.
She rarely lets me brush her hair and I can’t brush it when it is dry otherwise it becomes a big poof ball. We have started using shampoo and conditioner in the shower, but it still needs more to tame the curls and the tangles that goes along with having curly hair. Curl keeper is a line of products made just for those with curly hair though even I can use it to help tame my frizz. We have started by using the Leave-In Conditioner when she gets out of the shower. We comb it through and with little effort her the tangles just disappear.
Keep Curls Under Control
For those days when we forget the leave-in at night, we use the 30 second detangler before she heads off to school. It gives just enough weight to the hair and helps easily remove the tangles without any crying or fussing.
Both products are fairly lightweight and go on smoothly to the hair. We have tried many others that are just so heavy on the hair that it looks greasy. It doesn’t take a huge amount to get the results we have been looking for for her hair. Even after she sleeps on her wet hair at night, she wakes up with beautiful curls and only slight frizz just because she is a crazy sleeper. haha. We both like the scent of the Curl Keeper products so our hair smells sweet.
I like having a product that keeps curls under control and causes less frustration when it comes to managing my daughter’s hair. Now if only she would leave it down so we can see her curls versus pulling ip up everyday!
