This morning I decided to take Little Man with me while I went to run some errands. We go to Walmart for some cleaning supplies(don’t be jealous…and yes I saw several people in PJ’s even at 11 am) and as we are leaving Little Man says his tummy is hurting and wants to go home. I figured he was just getting hungry since it was almost lunch time. I told him we would go home soon, we just had two more stops to make.

So I head to over to Home Goods. I wanted to look around and see if they had anything that we could use in our new house. We have a couple of walls that need some pictures or decoration. Little Man again says that his tummy hurts. After about another two minutes, he says his tummy hurts again and wants to go home…. The next thing I know he is puking all over himself, the cart he was in, the floor AND me!!!

He just kept throwing up, stopped for a second and threw up some more… I stood there not knowing even what to do next because it just kept happening… Being that he is fully potty trained, I had nothing with me to clean him up at all and it was everywhere!!!

Thankfully someone went and told the people who work there what happened and they quickly came over and helped clean up. I felt so bad for them and a little embarrassed that they had to clean it. After getting us somewhat wiped down we headed to the bathroom to wipe off a little more and head home.

The smell on us was horrible!! Thankfully it was nice outside today and could ride home with the windows down. After showers and new clothes, we smelled better and Little Man was acting like nothing ever happened….

I don’t know what it was that upset his tummy, but oh man was it gross!!

So very thankful for the people at Home Goods and their quick response to what happened. I know it wasn’t an easy thing to clean up. I just home they don’t shun me when I do try to go back and finally look for some decorations 🙂

Have you ever had one of those moments as a mom or dad? Share below!!
