When I was younger, I remember summers spent with my grandparents for weeks at a time. There was no hours spent in front of a screen. There was simply playing games, being outside, and going on adventures. One of my favorite memories with my grandparents was when they would take my brother and me out on their little fishing boat for hours trying to catch fish. It was some of the best times to be had since we could just be together without all the hustle and bustle of life. Going fishing in a boat is the best!

My grandparents are fairly simple folks. They taught us hard work and how to work with our hands whether in the garden or going to catch something for dinner. My husband wishes that we could get a small boat to take my kids out fishing. It gives you the opportunity to unplug and just hang out with your family.
