This will not be a very long post since I have about 10 other ones that I need to catch up on right now, but I have to brag a little about myself.
I completed my very first half marathon this weekend!!! I don’t have my official time yet, but from my clock it was 2:27!!! Holy Cow!! I am going to do a full recap of the day and race sometime this week so hopefully I can get some pictures from the race.
I am pretty darn proud of myself for accomplishing this goal that I set out to several months ago. I was crazy sore yesterday, but doing a lot better today. I can’t wait to see what I can accomplish next and looking for to the next half marathon that I can sign up for!!! I seriously thought I would never hear myself say something like that. It really does go to show that if you set a goal and work towards it that you can accomplish it. I wanted to give up many times and some days I really did hate running, but I just kept going.
