Yes, it was another one of those weeks. Busy as ever and struggling to get things done!! I finally got back on the treadmill twice this week and went about 2 miles each time. I didn’t run like I used to, but I did walk at 4 mph pace. It is going to take me a bit to get used to running where I was before, but sure hope I get back there!! I want the energy back that I had before.
Eating this week was horrible and I gained a pound.. Boooo.. But as of today, I was back to my protein shakes for breakfast. My goal is to focus again on what and when I eat and overall just refocus on my health. I have let it all slip and now feel horrible in return. Lesson fully learned!!!
Our question this week from Mamavation:
What steps have you made so far this year to improve your quality of life?
Although my working out has decreased, I have had a better focus this year on my eating and also what I am bringing home for my kids to eat. When they see me eating fruit or yogurt, they have actually wanted to eat it too. It makes me feel good that they have wanted to copy momma. In that, I need to show them more of getting up and working out and moving, not just sitting in front of the tv or computer. Momma wants to be a good example to her kiddos!!

If it makes you feel any better, I am only up to 3.1 on the treadmill…once upon a time, I could run 4 miles every morning, now I can barely walk two. We'll get there again!!!! Have a great week :)

Jen@FoodFamilyFitness
