I was gifted with a free hour massage at Massage Envy in exchange for this review post. Stress has been building lately. Getting the kids back to school, more money going out to pay for preschool, getting back on a schedule and sleep not being what it was during the summer…All that combines makes for some pretty massive knots on my shoulders and back. When I get a massage, my back, shoulders, and neck are always the places that I have the therapist concentrate on during my session. This is why I think they really do have healing hands that relax the stress away. I visited a new massage therapist this time as I visited the Kingwood, Tx location again of Massage Envy. Like every other time that I have been I was greeted warmly and then filled out my information sheet so that the massage therapist knew what I wanted out of the massage and where I would like her to focus. I like that they have this step. It helps you write out what you would like versus trying to verbally explain what you need and maybe missing some information.
I never have to wait long in the back room before the massage therapist comes to get me. You can undress to your likeness and however you feel most comfortable. But know that everyone that I have had contact with there has been very professional and makes you feel right at ease. As usual it was a magnificent hour that I wish could have gone on much longer. I have such bad knots and it is never enough time to work them out. Maybe they should make me an ambassador so that I can receive more massages in exchange for advertising.. Haha.. A girl can dream 🙂
Seriously though.. I do love Massage Envy and have been pleased with their services every time that I have been there. Did you wind up booking a massage on September 17th for their Healing Hands promotion? I love how they give back to something that a lot of people suffer from and sometimes don’t even know it.
