Week 24
Holy cow, can’t believe this much time has gone by, the older I get, the shorter the years seem. Been on the Nutrisystem plan going on 5 months almost, and I’ve got to say that I’ve really learned a lot. My hope is that it sticks with me, unlike the Algebra, Trigonometry, Chemistry, and History I can no longer remember from College, forget Junior High! If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it numerous times throughout this experience, “Consistency and commitment”, yep, that’s the key.
It seems I’ve gotten away from doing my “traditional” workouts since the “big move” about 4 months ago. I’m spending more time gardening, digging up fence posts, leveling the yard, all the stuff I thought I would NEVER do. But it’s fun!? Really? Yeah, silly I know, but it’s the good kind of burn you get after an hour bike ride, but with more of a sense of accomplishment. I don’t know if that makes any sense…. but I’m rolling with it.
New favorite dish alert! Turkey and chicken meatloaf? Yes please! I’m always interested in what’s coming that’s new in the next shipment since we don’t get to pick all of the meals. Looking back on it, that’s probably a good thing, because it’s almost clear-cut what my ten favorite lunches and dinners are, and I would probably order ONLY those dishes, so good call Nutrisystem. On a different note though, I’ve been surprised by a lot of the dishes that I do like that I never would have ordered on my own. Not a big pork guy, but the Adobe rubbed pork? Winner winner chicken dinner!
Sorry to say though that I have not had a loss this week. One more week to go and I will be done with my time on Nutrisystem, so hoping for one last final push before I go out on my own.
