Now that my kids are getting close to school age, I have been sitting back and remembering the days that I was in school. There were good times and not so fun times, but I learned many life lessons then especially in college. It is amazing how we don’t appreciate it while we are in the moment, but the experiences that we go through in college can be life changing.
I was a fairly good student in high school, but when I got to college things just kind of went downhill. I think because I had more distractions that I lost my focus and inspiration so easily. One of the toughest things for me was writing PAPERS!!! I am not an overly creative person when it comes to words and trying to write out what was in my head just always seemed to come out a jumble mess. That is if I could even get an idea of what to write in the first place.. haha.
In the age of technology that we are now in, there are so many more tools for people to be able to research and give them ideas of what to write and a place to direct their focus for projects and papers. One of those places is www.studymode.com. Studymode.com is an online resource for high school and college students t get inspiration on a variety of subjects for papers and more. It is a subscription based service where you can also access Book Notes and AP Notes.
Why they didn’t have more sites like this when I was in high school and college??!! It makes me wonder what things will be like when my kids are in high school and college… It almost scares me š I think I will just worry about Kindergarden first!
