The term “Gluten Intolerant” or Celiac’s Disease is becoming more and more well known as the years go by. I think probably most of us know one if not more people who cannot have products where gluten is present, otherwise they have major stomach issues or more severe allergic reactions.
When my mother in law found out that she was gluten intolerant several years ago, she really reasearched what it all entailed and what foods she could and could not have. Since I like to cook and bake, I also looked in to what it means to be gluten intolerant. It is amazing how gluten is in so many things!! But there is good news, there are more and more products coming on the market for those with gluten sensitivity and Celiac’s disease to eat. Some products can be quite pricey, but there are beginning to be more that are not. The other problem is finding products that taste just as good as regular foods with gluten.
