Thanks so Extended Stay for sponsoring this conversation today on Giving Hope.
As a cancer survivor, I remember the days of being in the chemo chair and hospital when I had surgery and even as an adult just wanting something soft to hug and take away the fear that would overcome me with not knowing what all was going on with me. I have partnered with Extended Stay America to share about their initiative to donate Hope Bears to children with cancer.
Each year, over 10,000 children under the age of 15 are diagnosed with cancer. It’s a diagnosis that can turn a family’s life upside down. In an effort to bring awareness to the issue, Extended Stay America is introducing Hope. Hope is a cuddly symbol of kindness and comfort. Extended Stay America – through the support of their guests – is committing to provide 10,000 Hope bears to children’s hospitals throughout America with the simple goal of bringing a smile to the face of a child battling cancer.
Give Hope to a child with cancer for just $10
For just $10, a Hope bear can be delivered to a child battling cancer. Working with the American Cancer Society®, Extended Stay America will provide bears to children’s hospitals nationwide starting in September 2017.
Purchase Hope for yourself or a loved one for only $19.99
For those who would like to bring Hope home to a friend, family member or loved one, Hope can be ordered and delivered to your home for just $19.99. For each Hope bear purchased, Extended Stay America will donate $5.00 to the American Cancer Society toward pediatric cancer research.
Either way you are giving back to those with cancer either by purchasing a bear for Extended Stay America to help deliver in conjunction with the American Cancer Society or if you would like to get your own for a loved one, then money is given back to the American Cancer Society. Consider purchasing one or donating today.
