I have to say that I am pretty proud of myself for keeping up with this whole workout thing for over 4 weeks now. I put it off for so long and I wonder now why I didn’t start sooner. It isn’t like I haven’t had a treadmill in my house for 4 years now.. haha.. I think that is what is making the process a little easier to keep up with since I don’t have to spend any more money on it or worry about packing the kids up and taking them somewhere just so I can workout.

I am slowly starting to see an improvement and slimming. I haven’t really lost much weight yet(only 2 pounds), but I am seeing a little change as far as the shape of my legs and my belly has gone down a little!! Yahooo!! I finally ordered a Zumba DVD and can’t wait to try it out and see if the kids will like to play along πŸ™‚

I also decided to amp up my treadmill routine just a bit. The program I do ranges between 3.3 and 4.8 MPH, so my goal this week is to up each of those by .2, so that I range between 3.5 and 5 MPH… I have done that for two days so far and though it isn’t much faster and I don’t go much farther, at least I am burning a few more calories.

I am loving that my energy has increased and my moods have been a little better. My kids still wear me out by the end of the day, but I think that is pretty normal πŸ™‚

I could use some suggestions on simple workouts that could help strengthen my neck and back without having to do sit ups. I am still having a lot of pain in my neck, shoulders and back and REALLY want it to go away!!!

And if you have any great healthy recipes to share, please post away!! I want more options that taste good and are good for you! And ones that my kids might possibly eat too, would be great.

I just love that I can come check in with you after Welcome Wednesday! πŸ˜‰ So I'm not much of a workout queen but I do have neck and back issues…I'm trying to remember the different exercises that physical therapy would have you do for that and I think one would be the "superman"… I found this great website that not only has the superman but other ones too: http://

Thanks Dawn! I will look at the website. I did physical therapy for a bit when I started having issues, but just couldn&#39;t afford to keep going. I just want to feel like a normal person again! <br />And I am so not coordinated either. I try doing kickboxing, but it is just not pretty. So we will see how Zumba goes πŸ™‚
