We have all been prepping this week for Halloween. Getting the costumes, buying decorations, making some yummy spooky treats… but one place that we probably forget that needs some attention is our nails. It can be more simple that we think to get our nails to be in the Halloween spirit as well with Halloween Nail Art.
I figured I would get in on the fun and paint my nails. I started with a bright orange on most of my nails then put black on my ring finger. You could stop there and your nails would be cute and festive.. or you could take it a couple of steps further. On the black nail, after it was dry, I painted part of the nail in white to make a little ghost then did two black dots for eyes. This was super easy to do and so cute.
To take the orange color on my nails to the next level of fun, I took a Sharpie marker and made little pumpkin faces. You can really get creative here and make different faces on each nail. When the marker has set or you can use one of those nail polish decorating pens, go over the nail in clear to help it set and not smudge off.
So how do you think I did? Could I become a nail artist? 🙂
Julep wants to help you be inspired by the holidays and they have created a few tutorials for us all to follow and prep our nails for holiday fun all year round.
Here is a cute tutorial from Julep that will have your nails be the talk of the town.
