The kids were so excited this year when I finally showed them their costumes. Little Man actually picked his out this year. At first he said he wanted to be Buzz Lightyear again like he was last year, but when I was looking online and he saw Woody he changed his mine. I have to say that the first time he put on the costume, he totally reminded me of Woody with the dark hair and all. I had thought I had ordered Little Miss’ costume in a bigger size so that she could use it for dress up, but mommy goofed and ordered a size almost too small.. Boo

The kids got to wear their costumes first for preschool where they have a make believe parade. It was so cute!! Unfortunately because Little Miss’ costume was too small it started ripping at one of the seams, but daddy came to the rescue and sewed it up and ironed on some butterfly patches to cover the hole. It worked out pretty well and went along with the butterfly fairy princess!!

Halloween night, I sat outside with the fabulous candy from Unreal Candy that I was sent to give away and the YumEarth Organic Lollipops that I purchased to hand out as well. Daddy took the kids around to a few houses before he had to leave for inventory at his work. After that the kids helped me actually hand the candy to the few kids that came around. It is nice to have a neighborhood with such friendly neighbors that we don’t mind our kids going around to visit.

The kids had fun and haven’t really asked about the candy that mommy hid from their buckets 🙂 I had meant to take it to our dentist since she does a buy back program then sends it to the troops, but with 4 kids around during the day I completely forgot. I may save it for special occasions and as treats, but also may use most of it for my baking business. They are young enough to not know what I really did yet thankfully. They have enough energy on their own without the extra sugar.

I would love to see your family photos or just let me know what your kids dressed up as this year 🙂

By the way if you haven’t heard of Unreal Candy yet, you are missing out!! So good and much better for you!
