You have guests coming over. What do you serve? Is it a weeknight or a special occasion? Regardless of the situation, fixing dinner for more than your family or even sometimes just for your own family can be stressful and a lot of work.

I love to have people over to our new house. We finally have the space to entertain more and I like that it gives us more of a sense of togetherness than just meeting at a restaurant or random playdates here and there. Last week we decided to have a few friends over just because, but I really wasn’t in the mood to fix an all out dinner. It had been a busy week and I didn’t have much energy. Thankfully, I remembered that we were to pick up HoneyBaked’s New Recipe Turkey Breast with two sides and a dessert for a review. Yippee! Mommy didn’t have to cook!! I also had each couple that was coming bring their own favorite appetizer to share as well.

Some highlights of the dinner. It was really easy to prepare. The Smoked Turkey with the classic HoneyBaked crust/glaze was fully cooked and we could simply reheat and serve. It is slow roasted for that great home cooked flavor, it was very moist and it is already so one less step!! You can get it either roasted or smoked flavor. The smoked was delicious!

Each of the side items and dessert were frozen so we did have to heat the oven to cook those. All you have to do though is unwrap the packages, place on a cookie tray and bake. How simple is that. No prep work at all. We tried out the cornbread stuffing and the almond green beans. The cornbread stuffing was really flavorful. We have mixed reactions to the green beans some liked them, but some said they needed some extra seasoning and salt.

And let me just say that the Apple Caramel Walnut Pie was delicious! Coming from someone who has a home baking business, I was in heaven eating the pie. It had great flavor with a flaky crust and I just wanted to keep eating more.

Overall and excellent meal that was easy to prepare and serve.  The New Recipe Turkey is a hit!! My husband had it for sandwiches the next couple of days. So whether you are having a last minute dinner party or for the upcoming holiday season, HoneyBaked can be your go to place whether you want their classic ham or the new recipe turkey I recommend both.  They turkey is a nice change for sure.

HoneyBaked also wants to give you a $3 off coupon if you want to try out the new recipe turkey breast they offer.
