Woke up and the morning was business as usual. I went to check my banking account and now for the second time in a couple of months, our card number was stolen and someone went on a shopping spree. I just don’t get how card theft keeps happening….
The one a couple of months ago was our checking account. Somehow people are skimming our card numbers and making new cards to make purchases. Our actual cards have not been stolen. Just the numbers… This time the card theft was on our credit card through our bank.
The thieves went on a shopping spree throughout Texas and just headed south. How did they do it? How did they get my number? How do they spend money so fast? This time it totaled over $600….
I want to be so mad, I want to just want to scream, I just want to find out who it is and why they did this…..
I am thankful for a bank that understands and works quickly to get our money back and make things right. But are things ever really right? IT just keeps happening. Not just to me, but to so many people. Why??????
It makes me sad for the people who do this. Sad that their lives have come to doing things to hurt other people. I hope they enjoy whatever it is that they purchased and that it helps their families out if they really are struggling that much.
I know that they probably won’t be caught and will probably do this again. I pray that they can change their ways and realize how much they are really hurting others as well as themselves.
