What a week this last one has been. I have to say I am pretty stinkin proud of myself and what I have accomplished. I was able to run 5 days this last week and it felt so good.
Sunday 7 miles
Monday 4 miles
Tuesday 4 miles
Wednesday 5 miles
Thursday and Friday Off
Saturday 6.5 miles
With that I have also gotten back to eliminating foods out of my diet that I was starting to sneak in. No more sweet tea, no more Chick Fil A, or Sonic Drinks. It is crazy how fast these things can sneak back in because you want convenience and food fast and now. But what I realized is that my mood was fluctuating again, I wasn’t sleeping well and my pain was getting BAD. Fibro sure stinks, but what I have learned is that when I eat clean and keep up my exercise the pain is manageable.
The only bad about this last week is that my body was detoxing in a way so I felt horrible, but I had to get over that hump again.
The good about this last week….. I dropped 2.2 pounds!! 2 of which I had gained over the holidays so that is gone plus a little more!! Yahoo. I am down a total of 27.2 pounds!!! I am participating in a Diet Bet this month where I bet that I could lose 4% of my body weight. That would get me pretty close to my next goal weight and one day to my wedding weight!!!
I sure do love running and am looking forward to what this year brings in regards to it!!

Glad you didn't fall very hard and can get back to managing the pain very soon. Also congrats on the scale victory in the process of a learning week. Feel awesome this week!
I am so glad I do not have a Sonic near me, that would be hard to avoid.
Good for realizing that you need to stop having those little treats.
Good luck
WOW! that would be my dream running week. A goal I will be at before the end of the year, so glad to see a "normal" person doing it. And I'm sooo proud of you doing with with fibro, it can't be easy with the pain.
And congrats on the 27.2lb loss!! Bet it feels great!
Great job! Keep going!
WOW AMAZING. I love your running tally! I want to start running so badly but it is one of those things that are eluding me 🙁 Great job on cutting out the fast food and your weight loss

That's fantastic. I'm a couch runner right now. I run to the kitchen, I run to pick the kids up from school. You know!
