It is interesting that I even have that title on my post of “Heart Smart” since I have been far from it this week!! The last couple of weeks have been pretty stressful between house hunting, blog work, baking work and more. Working out went on the wayyyyy back burner and I paid for it by being in a lot of pain. You think I would have learned by now that getting in my runs were helping me lower my pain greatly, but sometimes life just gets in the way. Now with extra stress and the extra pain, I have been eating horribly as a way to ease my pain and now I just feel blah….
It is time for me to sit back and re-prioritize my time and get back into a better mind set. It is funny how life goes in these up and down patterns. I am ready for it to go back up again so I can feel more like a person and not a robot going through the motions.
No real gains or losses this week. Despite the not so good eating I have stayed the same. I have been keeping up with my protein shakes for breakfast so that has at least somewhat kept me on track.
Our question of the week is:
What food do you think is good for the heart?
I have heard before that Red Wine(used sparingly) can be good for your heart. Other than that I really have no idea. It is something I should research more. I want to be around for my kids as long as possible and need to become more knowledgeable of the foods I put in my body and how they can help/hurt me.

We all get off track sometimes and it sounds like you have had A LOT going on!

Oatmeal is a good heart healthy food 🙂

Hope your coming week is better!
You are so cool. Good luck on proritizing things and have a great week
Everybody get side track. We just all get back on the wagon again and start over. Take it one day at a time and breathe girl 🙂 Have a great week.
