Sometimes I wonder where I find inspiration to want to be healthier. I think there are probably many reasons that I am trying so hard to lose weight and get myself in a “healthier” shape.
One has to be my kids. I really want to set an example for them. I don’t want them to see me just sitting on the couch, eating crappy food, and not having any energy or desire to get up and play with them.
Another has to be, I want to live my life to its full potential. I don’t want to be stuck being groggy or in pain or sedentary. I really do want my body to be the best it can be. I am so tired of being in pain. I am so tired of being tired. When I work out and eat better, I feel so much better and get so much more done.
Yet another reason, I want to be the best wife I can be for my husband. I want to be around for as long as I can. I truly want to spend a long life with him.
I think my last and most important reason is that God gave me this body and this life and I should do what I can to take care of what He has given me. He sent me and made me for a purpose and I don’t want to waste it away.
Our question this week is: Who is your biggest inspiration when it comes to healthy lifestyle?
There are lots of people who inspire me when it comes to a healthy lifestyle. I think I answered it above that it really is a combination of all those people. One who inspires me to keep at it also is Bookieboo 🙂 I am seeing that it is possible to rid myself of the bad foods.. bad habits.. and truly live a healthy lifestyle.
I am happy to report that I am down 1 pound since we started the 2 week challenge!! I didn’t lose much for inches but have noticed a slight slimming in my legs and I plan on keeping up the workouts from this go around. I could really feel the burn in the places where I need the most work!!
Have you seen the YouTube Video 23 1/2 hours? I think you'd benefit from watching it because it goes into a lot of detail into all the diseases you're preventing by simply being active for 30 min a day – it also points out that even if you don't lose weight you're still preventing those diseases by being active! I think you'd enjoy it, and it'll make you feel better about
My inspiration is anyone who has lost weight and kept it off as that is what I want to do.
