It is summer time here in the Ockerman household. No more preschool and today is the last day that I will have any extra kiddos in the house. I am starting to plan things to do with the kids and keep them busy and moving so that they don’t get bored.

I am planning on lots and lots of pool time! The kids are getting older and they can float around the pool more and more by themselves. This will also be great exercise for me and them and hopefully by the end of summer they will be swimming up a storm.

I only got in one run last week and it was mostly a walk. It is amazing how fast you can get out of shape. Since I will have more time on my hands and won’t have a baby in the house, I am planning on lots more running and getting myself back into good running condition. I have no races planned for quite some time, but want to start getting my energy level back up.

If you didn’t see, I also decided to go on a gluten free diet. I have been having more and more issues with allergies and bloating and just the few days I have been doing it, I have started to feel better. I think something I ate yesterday had gluten in it because I was bloated again last night. This is going to be a hard journey to make the change, but I think it is something that my body needs.

I will be participating in the Mamavation Virtual 5K next weekend, you should join me!!!

I&#39;ve always been amazed how fast I can go from being in incredible shape to barely being able to run a mile! Crazy that it takes so long to get in shape and it doesn&#39;t take that long to get out of shape :(<br /><br />Have a great week!!

I hope the GF diet goes well for you. I went wheat-free last summer and noticed that my bloating went away. Pretty amazing how gluten can affect that so much! Now that I&#39;ve had the baby and am back to being able to eat normally, I plan to go back to that. Eager to see the results!<br /><br />Hope you&#39;re having a fantastic week and enjoying that pool time!
