As much time as I spend on a computer, you would think that I would be smart enough to sit properly and have my body supported so that I am not in pain… Well, to be honest, most of the time I am on my computer while sitting on my couch and not always in the best positions. That is probably why I now have a lot of wrist pain and neck pain if I am on the computer too long.

Before we moved in to our new house, my office desk was in my daughter’s room and I couldn’t exactly go work in there while she was sleeping. I finally have my own dedicated office here, but haven’t quite organized it all yet.. I will soon 🙂

I was happy to receive from Shoplet.com Office Supplies a Fellowes Memory Foam Palm Support and Fellowes Memory Foam Gliding Palm Support with Mouse Pad to test out.

The Palm Support is great because it is long enough to stretch across the base of your keyboard. It is the perfect height and provides support for your palms and wrists as you move back and forth typing. THe laptop I have now has a fairly small keyboard so I don’t wind up moving my hands much, but is is nice to have something squishy instead of hard underneath. My only problem is that my keyboard is further up on my computer so I can’t use the keyboard pad the way I would like. I almost need one that is split so that the mousepad part of my laptop isn’t covered up. It retails for $14.44.

I don’t actually use a mouse much since I am on a laptop, but I do want to get a wireless one to use whenever I finally get my office set up. Having something underneath my wrists while I am using the mouse would be a great benefit so that I have less wrist pain. The Fellowes Gliding Palm Support is cushiony and makes a perfect wrist rest. It easily glides across your desk while at the same time giving support and comfort. It retails for $14.05.

If you have any sort of pain from not getting proper support while on the computer, both of these products are well worth it. They are comfortable and provide relief while you are working.

I was provided with the above products in order to facilitate my review. No other compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
