Well I have come to the end of my journey with Nutrisystem. It has been quite a journey over the past 4 months. I knew I probably wouldn’t get all the way down to my ultimate goal weight, but I am really happy with what I have accomplished and the fact that I am down 10.2 pounds in 4 months!!

I also wanted to share what I have lost inch wise. I am down 1″ in my arms, 1 ” in my chest, 4″ in my waist!!, 1″ in my hips, and lastly 1 ” in my thighs!!!! Woo hoo

What I have learned the past four months with being on Nutrisystem is portion control is a big factor. We don’t have to totally eliminate all foods from our diet, but we have to learn how to control how much of them we eat. We all need to balance what we do take in like power fuels, smart carbs, and extras.

I have added in many more foods than I ever thought I would. Before Nutrisystem I definitely didn’t eat near as many veggies as I needed to and though I was eating healthier before, I wasn’t balancing it all and filling myself on veggies.

I have also learned to drink my water!! By making sure that I am not thirsty, I in turn wind up not being hungry and wanting to snack to fill the voids. You wind up eating every couple of hours on the Nutrisystem plan which helps you to not be so hungry and it helps speed up your metabolism. And hey, if you are hungry you can always grab some veggies which are low calorie!!

I am so thankful that I was given the opportunity to kick start my weight loss again and I fully plan on keeping it going. I wish I had lost more, but with life there are always surprises and bumps that can slow you down. What I have realized though is that by going slowly with my weight loss, I will be more likely to keep it off in the long run. I am learning lifestyle changes and not just a diet.

I am also thankful that hubby has been able to do it with me. It really had helped having the support from him and being able to learn this change together. I am so proud for all he has accomplished and I can’t wait to see what he keeps doing on his journey the next couple of months. I will be here to keep supporting him and cooking him veggies 🙂

Thanks to Nutrisystem for the support, encouragement and guidance and I look forward to  taking what I have learned and eventually hitting my ultimate goal weight!!!
