We are now three weeks into the Nutrisystem Success Program. This past week has not been avery good one. Between stress, having baking orders to work on, and just being generally tired I wound up cheating a lot the first part of the week. My pain was also pretty high over the last week and when I am in a lot of pain, I usually sooth it with sweets. Grant it, it usually makes me feel worse afterwards, but for some reason I turn to sweets and salty snacks when I don’t feel good.
Towards the end of the week, I got back on track and watched my eating and made sure to get in more water. Water has a lot to do with it and being hungry for sure. When I make sure to get enough water in, I am more clear minded and don’t feel as hungry. It is hard to always keep these things and lessons on the forefront of your mind when you get consumed with work and kid things.
I also wasn’t as good with my exercise. I wasn’t sitting on my bum all day, but I also didn’t make an extra effort to get on the treadmill or go for walks.
Despite my not so good eating this past week, I am down to 144.8, so a loss of .4 pounds this week. It bums me out that it wasn’t more, but any sort of loss is good. Oh and it looks like it is time to paint the toes again.. haha.
I could definitely use some encouragement and support in this journey. While I know I don’t have tons of weight left to lose to get back to my pre-having babies weight, I would like to get close. I am working on getting healthier, so if I don’t wind up getting all the way down to where I would like I know that is fine. The point is learning to eat healthier and getting back to be stronger for my kids 🙂
