Week 3 Nutrisystem Success Men’s Plan
Keeping it going with the diet! Haven’t cheated per say, and I find it getting easier to keep with the healthier meals. Had a couple of slices of pizza one night last week, but the key to that is ONLY A COUPLE, as in 2 slices, my norm for pizza used to be half-a-pie! I’ve managed to keep up with my workouts, which up to now only consist of walking, but it does make me feel better. I’ve been walking the green-belt trails around our neighborhood with the kids, mostly pulling them around in the wagon, but it’s good family time as well as a good workout.
At the last weigh in I was in at 239.8, down another 2.4 pounds in a week! I still have at least another 30 pounds to lose, but I’m optimistic. The key for me is the exercise, which I enjoy doing, but routinely put off because of time issues or lack of focus. We’re on this program for 4 months, and my goal has always been to get under 210 pounds before that time is up. Regardless, my end game is a much healthier 195 pounds… and staying there!
We recently put in our order for the second months food delivery, and I must say I’m excited to try some of the new stuff. The Chef’s Table meals are almost always pretty good, and I’ve found some low-calorie ways to spice up some of the one’s that need just a little bit extra. My current favorite is the Chipolte flavored Cholula sauce, which is labeled as 0 calories per serving and has a pretty low sodium content. Here’s to stickin’ with the program and seeing another couple of pounds drop off this week!
