Week 6
It’s hard to believe that 6 weeks of being on Nutrisystem have gone by already. Down another 1.8 pounds to 234.2! Finally starting to see the physical effects of the 14 pounds that have come off over that time. Down a notch on the trusty belt, clothes fitting a little loser, and the belly’s not quite as round as it had been. Still a lot of work to do however.
Had a set back physically as my knee has been very swollen, so I haven’t been working out the last 4 days, but the weight is still coming off. I do have to admit that not working out has definitely had an impact on my energy level, so I will dive back into it tomorrow. I’m not sure what I’ll be doing, but low impact and breaking a sweat are definitely on the menu. Maybe a trip to the pool for some laps?
The last week seemed a little easier due to the fact that we had no dinner plans and didn’t have to fight the urge at one of our local restaurants. I think that’s the first week out of the six that we haven’t gone somewhere or to someone’s house for dinner. This weekend being Father’s Day, we’ll have to do something. What I’m discovering, as if I didn’t already know, is it just comes down to smart choices.
