This One is Just Right- 2016 Mazda CX-9

I always have a bit of a skeptical eye when it comes to SUV’s that have third rows. Most of the time the third row of seats can barely fit a small child much less an adult. The 2016 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring AWD well, this one is just right. It has style and comfort plus plenty of room inside. Will it give you all the space of a large SUV, no, but for what I am looking for for our family of four and the businesses that I run, then it is just right.

The Mazda CX-9 is the largest of the line of SUVs that Mazda makes. It seats 7 and does so in a way to maximize the space. What I like is that they don’t try to make the third row three seats. There is just enough space for two and bonus is that they do have latch anchors on the back of the seat. For the most part, I don’t need a third row, but for the times that I have my sisters kids it could work for us. The two boys who are forward facing could fit in back while the baby and my two kids who only need boosters could fit in the second row.

Now I know what you are wondering…what is the cargo space like with the third row up? It is adequate for everyday driving and running errands. Would you be able to do a long road trip with all the luggage and that many people? Probably not unless you are excellent packers. Could it fit 7 adults? Sure it could as the second row of seats can move back and forth to allow more space for the third row passengers.

With the rear seat folded down it has tons of space for travel and road trips. My kids would have room to spread out their stuff in the second row and lots of room for luggage.

The updated styling and function of the 2016 Mazda CX-9 is stunning. The sharp lines and sporty styling is evident all through the line of vehicles. They have done so well giving their vehicles an expensive sporty look for a fraction of the price of the competitors. They have taken the time to place design features in just the right spot all throughout the vehicle. From cubby holes for your phone and keys, to the way the side mirror is placed on the door, and even the layout of the console and how you reach all the knobs and buttons is well thought out and makes driving easier and more pleasureable.

All around a fantastic vehicle and really the one is just right. This is one that I would consider if we wanted to go the SUV route but still have the seating for 7. Fully loaded it is a decent price and has all the upgrades that you would want.
