For the most part, we usually take the kids out somewhere for Halloween so we rarely pass out candy, but this year with being in a new neighborhood that we wouldn’t mind walking around I think we will actually pass out candy. But I don’t want to hand out just any old junk.
I have been watching more and more what we eat and while I know that we can’t get away from all the junky foods, it is nice to know that there are more and more candy companies popping up that are making sweet treats that are not filled with ingredients we can’t even pronounce.
Awhile back, I did a review of the YumEarth Organic Lollipops. They sent me the gummy bears to try out and I think this may be what we are handing out at Halloween this year. The taste of them far exceeds the regular gummy bears. They actually taste like real fruit and not just some rubbery gel like substance. My kids gobble them down and it is nice to know that they are non GMO, no artificial dyes, safe for those with the common allergies to foods, and one pack is only about 69 calories.
They are a fun treat for the kids and since they come in fun little packs it will be easy to hand out to anyone that comes to the door this Halloween.

Hmmm well I do love Milky Way….although it's not good for you AT ALL. <br /><br />I just bought the YumEarth lollipops for 3 sisters in the Sunday school class I teach, because they're allergic to all artificial colors and ingredients. They love them, and I'm thinking I want to try these for the girls too!
