Plant Based Cleaning- Ology Products from Walgreens Review

I received this product for free from the sponsor of the Moms Meet program, May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meets blogger, I agreed to use this product and post my opinion on my blog. My opinions do not necessarily reflect the opinions of May Media Group LLC or the manufacturer of the product.

I have a little confession. I try to eat healthy, buy organic when I can, but am horrible when it comes to cleaning products. It is one area in my daily habits that I tend to overlook. I have used “greener” products in the past but never stuck to them. I use what I have grown up using…

There are a lot of products that claim to be green and do a great job, but I have never been overly impressed. The Ology line of products exclusively at Walgreens may just have changed my mind about using more green cleaning and home products and they won’t break the bank!

The Ology laundry detergent is free from dyes, artificial frangrances, and phosphates. The packaging is made from 100% post consumer material. You won’t find harsh chemicals like bleach, ammonia, or other yuckies that we don’t realize harm us more than help us clean. The Ology brand is endorsed by Healthy Child Healthy World, a national leading independent nonprofit organization, dedicated to the protection of children from harmful chemicals.

All that said, it sounds great in theory, but was it going to really clean my house and laundry?? The answer is YES. The All-purpose cleaner had to be by far my favorite product. With the meyer lemon and lavender scent my counters and tables not only smelled cleaned the cleaner was able to power through the kiddo spills and kitchen mess that I am notorious for making when I cook. Pair that with the Ology paper towels that were just as tough and absorbent as regular paper towels. It was kinda cool to think that they are not made from trees, but rather sugar cane husk and bamboo.

They have made a believer out of me that green products can perform as good if not better than their counterparts and it is better for the earth as a whole!

Will you try them out and make a pledge using the tag #OlogyPledge, or learn more at the Ology Page on Green Moms Meet. Check them out on Facebook too.
