I have some secrets to share with you…Rather personal secrets… My secrets of a busy mom life.
Now don’t let your mind wander too far, I am sharing the secrets of what is in my car to help me get through a crazy busy day of being a mom, taxi driver, cook, cheerleader, and runner. I am blessed that I do get to stay home with my kids. Sure I have lots of odd jobs to help contribute at least a little to our family finances, but not a full time out of the house job. I will say that I give mucho kudos to mommies that have to work outside the house. I don’t know how you do it all, because life sure gets busy here.
With little miss still at a different school than her brother with two different drop off and pick up times, I am in the car a lot. Plus we just started back to soccer for both kids so we have two practice times with two games on Saturday. For the next three months, we will be spending lots of time in my van going from one place to the next. I also have at least two races scheduled each month for the next few months. So I thought I would share with you what all I keep in my van to keep me going. These are things that have become staples to help me and my family be able to accomplish all we need to, be our healthy best, and not worry that we forgot something at home.
Starting at the back of the van, I have the kids soccer balls and portable chairs for the games and practices. They will stay there for the next 3 months. I also have reusable shopping bags for grocery shopping as well as if we ever have dirty shoes or clothes. During the colder soccer months I will keep a blanket and a towel in the back since the soccer fields are always windy and a lot of the times wet!!
The middle of the van is the kid zone. This zone has their car seats, portable DVD player for entertainment, and their own command station with wipes, tissues, snacks, and small toys. Keeping a couple of the mini water bottles is a great idea too because kids always seem to be hungry or thirsty at the wrong time. I replenish this area whenever I see their snacks getting low or a game broken so that they don’t get bored or hungry while we drive all over creation š
Now for the mommy area of the van. Hair ties, pens, paper, headphones are just some of the random things that are always in my van for those random needs. Of course in my purse I carry a few other things like my essential oils and mints. Snacks are a big part of what I keep in my van at all times. Since I have a gluten allergy, I can’t just stop and grab food from just any fast food restaurant. I keep a small bag of mixed nuts and dried fruit that is great for giving you protein to tide you over until you can get a full meal. Gluten free granola bars are good too. My newest staple for the van isĀ EsterCĀ® 1000 mg supplement which I found on my latest shopping trip to Walmart and it is currently on rollback. It gives you up to 24 hours of immune support that helps me stay on top of my mommy game. I am sure you have all seen the fizzy drink mix, but they also have a tablet that makes it easy to carry around.
So now that I have shared with you my secrets of busy mom life and what I carry in my van to help make my life just a little easier as I drive my kids around, what tips do you use or have that you keep in our van to make your life as a mom just a little easier and smoother? Could you use an immune support like I have found from EsterCĀ®?
