This week on toys we love this week are toys that are fun as well as educational. Educational Insights sent us a few toys to test out. I love that their toys are geared towards being more educational while at the same time whimsical and fun for any kid. Rainbow Prancers Puppet on a Stick, Design and Drill Flower Power Studio, Magic Moves Rainbow Jam, and GeoSafari Jr. Jungle Crew Lab Set found a way to test my kids imagination as well as motor skills. Read more below about toys we love this week.

Puppet on a Stick are unicorn that can be customized with included stickers and used as a puppet with an easy to pull stick at the bottom or a tab that can be pushed down by your thumb. Oh what stories that these puppets elicited from my kids as they were unicorns going to the grocery store, galloping off to see their friends, and even being rockers in a band. My daughter loved their colorful manes which she would braid and pull up into pony tails. My kids loved putting on puppet shows behind the couch cushions.

Both kids took right to the Design and Drill as well. They love helping daddy out with projects and even have their own mini toolboxes. Now they can drill down colorful screws to make patterns and work on their motor skills without hurting my table or smashing a finger which they have been known to do. The set comes with a book that gives patterns for the kids to follow. But my kids liked just doing their own thing more. The set becomes its own carrying case as well. If you drill in all the screws to the outside then you don’t have to worry about them falling out when the case is opened.

My nephews loved the Rainbow Jam. If you place the end of the microphone down on a color it sings a song based on that color. It helps kids recognize their colors as well as give them some fun music to dance around to. Jam sessions are a must when you have littles to get all their crazy energies out. They will play and learn and dance with one simple toy. Kids tend soak more information in when there is music involved.

The Jungle Crew Lab Set makes doing Science experiments fun and imaginative. The experiments are simple and with jungle animals as the toppers and handles on the set, is so cute. Who knows I might just have a future scientist on my hand after they do more experiments.

Educational Insights makes quality toys that inspire, motivate, teach, as well as bring the fun.
