As little man gets older he is becoming more and more interested in gross things… Grant it I can handle a lot of gross things, after all I have to wipe other ppl’s bottoms and wipe noses(oh the life of a mom!!), but I still have a fairly weak stomach.
Little Man loves to learn about new things and I like that he has a love of learning, so why not incorporate the two with fun and funky books from National Geographic: 5,000 Awesome Facts(About Everything) and That’s Gross: Icky Facts That Will Test Your Gross-Out Factor. Two books that I am sure will be brought out time and time again to learn new facts and share some icky ones with family and friends.

In 5,000 Awesome Facts(About Everything!)- You can learn 25 Heart Pumping Facts like did you know that earthworms have 5 hearts?? I sure didn’t. Also pandas spend 10 to 16 hours of every day eating up to 40 lbs of bamboo. Man, if I ate for that long I wouldn’t get anything else done in a day.
This book is filled with fun and funky facts about so many different subjects and things that are cool and sometimes obscure. Great coffee table book to bring out and look through with your kids and friends and test each others knowledge on a variety of subjects.
See the Book Trailer
Also Find it on Amazon
I wasn’t exactly looking forward to looking through That’s Gross! book, but knew my son and husband would. They are boys after all and seem to be fascinated with subjects that just plain gross me out. I guess it is a boy thing. One page they really liked what learning about the first person to can their poop and the first famous professional tooter…. Oh MY!!
Buy it on Amazon
I think that this book will be a hit with the boys, but not something my stomach can really handle.. haha
One of my fabulous readers will win their own copy of both books for you and your kids to read and learn some awesome facts, even some that are gross!! Giveaway will run until 10/9 at midnight. Winner will have 48 hours to respond to winning email before another winner will be chosen. Open to US and CAN residents only. Good Luck and Happy Entering 🙂

a Rafflecopter giveaway

I was sent the above books to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.
