When we moved in to this rental house, we decided to make the Dining Room into the Playroom. We had an atrium at our last townhouse that was great to use as a playroom. The toys were out of the way and not scattered all over the house. We only have 3 bedrooms at this house. I sure could use an extra one so that the office desk and computer are not in Little Miss’s room. Since I didn’t want the kids toys in their rooms right now, we made the dining room the new playroom. I like things organized, but man is it sure hard to do with two kids. Since I have been a little busy with my side business this week the kids sure have taken advantage of that and made the playroom look like a tornado ran through it!!

Case in point:

After I was done this morning dipping 30 dozen cake bites, I thought it was a good time to finally tackle the playroom mess. WHAT WAS I THINKING??!!  I definitely got a good workout doing it. I emptied out all the different storage containers and organized them back in to similar toys. And after one trash bag full of miscellaneous parts and mess this is what the Playroom looks like now:
Little Miss had to check and make sure momma did a good job. She can now get in to her kitchen and cook like momma does!
Now it is time for little miss to take a nap and momma to get some quiet time before I try to tackle the rest of the house. Watch out, momma is on the warpath!!!
