This week I will be sharing recipes that are all about the grill. Starting with an appetizer all the way down to dessert. Can we say S’mores??? You have to come back and read all about that one!
I will say that this whole menu was crazy easy to put together. Like I did it in about an hour and was ready to head to the grill. Grant it the grilling part took awhile, but the grill did most of the work for me. Grilled Prosciutto Asparagus is just two ingredients. That’s it.
You will need to get two of the 3 oz packages of thinly sliced prosciutto and one bunch of asparagus at the grocery store.
Take the prosciutto and cut it length wise so that you wind up with double the amount of meat.
Trim the woodsy ends off the asparagus, then take one slice of the prosciutto and wrap all around the asparagus.
Place the little bundles on the grill until the prosciutto becomes crispy. I prefer prosciutto to bacon because it will cook up so much faster and for me because it has no sugar. I didn’t have to use an extra oil or seasoning and they tasted so yummy and salty goodness.
These can also be done in the oven if you don’t want to bring the grill out, but since this week’s menu is all about the grill then get them out there while you are cooking your other meats and more!!
