I think you all know that I am a huge fan of trucks. But as a mom of two is a truck really what I should be driving around? After driving the 2016 Ford F-150 Limited it got me to thinking of the various people who might buy a truck and ask “Is this enough truck for you?” I would answer with a resounding yes.

It really doesn’t matter if you are a soccer mom like me, a man who works at a construction site, or anyone really trucks are so versatile and useful. The technology and features that new trucks can come with make driving a truck much less intimidating.

One of the most useful functions that the Ford F-150 can be equipped with is park assist. Let’s face it trucks are big and really hard to see around. The 360 cameras are your first tool to having eyes in those blind spots. Parallel parking can be done with a touch of a button. The sensors that are around the truck can sense when there is a spot that is large enough for it to fit. You pull forward like you normally would to park, place the truck in reverse and control the brake. The truck will do the rest. Every time I see park assist especially on a truck I am amazed.

The space inside the 2016 Ford F-150 Limited is plenty for a family of up to 4-5. Three car seats can easily fit across the back. If you only need space for two, one great feature is that one of seats can fold up to give you space for groceries or other larger items you don’t want to haul in the truck bed. Also it has a flat load floor to allow you to store items seamlessly across the floor. You could practically sleep in the back floor of the truck if you really needed to it is so big inside.

The Limited version offers plenty of upgrades to tech, leather seating, and other creature comforts like massaging seats. You heard me right, massaging seats!!!! Whether on a long road trip or even after a long day at work, turn on the heated seats then the massagers and man you can relax a bit and make the driving less stressful.

I think the only reason I wouldn’t buy a truck is that I like my cargo and groceries to be covered. I am not a fan of putting my groceries in the back bed just to have them melt or possibly fly out by the time I get home. Also since I often have my niece and nephews with me quite often, I need space for 5 kids. You just can’t get that in a truck. While I will never give up my love for trucks, it might be that I have to let my husband have one so that I can drive it every once in awhile.
