GM vehicles have been on my radar for quite some time of vehicles that I would like to test drive. We have mostly stuck with Toyotas as for as vehicles we have purchased, but I have had my eye on various GM models out of curiosity of how they handled and for their styling. The 2016 GMC Terrain Denali is a fully loaded mid-size SUV that has all the bells and whistles that you would want for a medium size family vehicle.

Right away I was liking the more squared off chiseled look that GMC and Chevy have going on this year. The Terrain that I had only sat 5, if you are lucky. It definitely won’t hold three car seats across properly. I had to pick up my sister with her three kids after an accident with her vehicle and we had to shove the seats for the kids in and even then the car seats and booster had to be squished to fit. Thankfully we weren’t driving far with all three kids. So if you have more than 4 in your family I suggest getting one with a third row. The Denali package brought with it chrome accents throughout, tech, and leather that you would want in a more upscale SUV.

The ride in the 106 GMC Terrain Denali was fairly smooth and accelerated well. It was a great vehicle for our family of four and had tons of space in the cargo area with only two rows of seating. Having lots of cargo space when you have kids and soccer gear to haul and groceries is a huge plus. The interior wood, leather, and chrome accents blended well into each other. The center console and dashboard had great storage areas for phone, keys, and charging ports.

Overall it is a beautiful vehicle. The grill and front fender are my favorite part of the whole look. The headlights add to the squared off angled look that just speaks to me. I can’t wait to tell you about the other GMC and Chevy vehicles that I had after this one. They are slowly turning me into a GM loving girl.
