How Elizabeth Tarkson spent her summer vacation.
I had the suspicion I was going to die young. I’m mean, I’d heard it before. For years, one man in particular had told me of the premonition and his certainty was infuriating. I denied it, of course.
That is, until this summer.
When it became clear that destiny was against me, I left in a huff for a summer vacation with plans to complete my bucket list. I drove to a roughneck bar and got drunk for the first time in my life. Somehow I ended up in an amusement park in Minnesota. Then, I hitched a ride with a trucker to the East coast.
All the while, the sexy man I’d left behind haunted my thoughts. I tried not to let it bother me.
I had plenty of money at my disposal but lacked the time I always thought I’d have. I traveled to New York next, saw the Statue of Liberty, and met some interesting people. I learned a lot about the real world but after several near fatal accidents on my excursion, I decided to spend the remainder of my time in Paris.
I figured the quaint city would be the perfect place to nestle in and finish my novel, my tribute to my existence. It should have been a magical trip, but when I arrived––that’s when things got really freaky.
Want to know what happened after that?
Check out A Destined Death to read about Elizabeth Tarkson’s electrifying journey.
