My new niece is just the sweetest thing. So tiny and precious and definitely completes my sisters family. It is hard what to know to get a new baby that is truly useful when there are other siblings. The basics are usually taken care of: bed, toys, etc. So what do you get for a mom who already has other kids? I want to share with you some of the best gifts for new babies.
Top of the list is of course diapers. There can never be too many diapers in a house with new babies. Have you seen how many a typical baby can go through in one day?? Wowsers. If you don’t know what brand or size to buy, then get the mom a gift card so that she can purchase them when needed.
Next on my list is bottles. Not every baby likes the same bottles. Since my sister will be mostly breast feeding, you want to choose a bottle that mimics a mom as closely as possible and also helps reduce air intake. These are a great tool in the mommy arsenal to have and help daddy feel connected through feedings as well.
Clothes and Blankets are my last best gifts for new babies. They can never have too many clothes and blankets for sure. Babies make a mess, it is just how they are. Since my sister had a girl this time instead of a boy like her other two then clothes were a necessity. We also wanted her to be girly with new PINK blankets that are soft and cuddly.
I am sure there are other things I could add to this list, but as long as a baby is clothed, diapered, and fed is just about all they care about!
