In this week’s collaboration for Camp Warner Bros. we are getting into the world of Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans where characters learn to work together to defeat the villians. Our craft today is pretty cool and can be used for a long time. We are making DIY personalized banks with their favorite Teen Titans characters on the outside. Adult supervision is needed.

We decided to do a few different colors to spray paint our mason jar banks. I had a gold glitter as well as black on hand. On Amazon you can buy the lids with slits already in them. Head outside and put some cardboard down to spray paint the jars and lids. While the mason jars are drying, have your kids cut out their fave character that they will add to the jar. Using mod podge, add your character to the outside of the jar. You can then seal the whole jar with either spray or paint on mod podge. Your campers are now ready to start saving some money. Maybe they will even work together like the Teen Titans to pool their saved money together and buying something cool.
Ours were a little rough. We rushed just a bit and should have used larger jars, but they were a fun experiment to try out.
While chores can be a bore – you can figure out small incentives to help your campers learn about the value of the dollar, and working hard for something they really want. You can teach budgeting and saving to help set them up for their future. If they feel like being real Super Heroes – they can even do chores for charity – and have them donate to a cause that can save someone else’s Universe!

About Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans:
In Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans, the comedic modern-day quintet takes on their 2003 counterparts when villains from each of their worlds join forces to pit the two Titan teams against each other. They’ll need to set aside their differences and work together to combat Trigon, Hexagon, Santa Claus (that’s right, Santa!) and time itself in order to save the universe.
