Thanks Smiley360 for choosing me to participate in this project on behalf of Boursin Cheese. It was a blast having a cheesy appetizer party.

Soooo, I recently turned 34. I don’t really like that number. I don’t feel 34.. Most days I feel much younger, some days I feel much older as my body has been through a lot over the years. But still many many reasons to celebrate that I am alive. So we decided to have a couple people over to just hang out, relax, and of course eat. Here is my Cheesy Appetizer Party with #BoursinCheese
My friend had a new recipe she wanted to share with us that contained cream cheese, so I thought maybe we should make cheese the theme of the get together. I was sent some coupons to try out Boursin cheese so there was one simple appetizer down. Pair it with some grapes, nuts, crackers and it is a simple and elegant appetizer.
Having an appetizer party is sometimes better because you don’t have to commit to huge amounts of food that people won’t eat. You can have small portions of several dishes that can satisfy a variety of tastes for everyone at your party including kiddos.
So here are a few of my favs that we served:
Turkey meatballs with BBQ sauce-
For this I took 2 pounds of ground turkey, added some bbq seasoning and rolled them. I baked them in the oven on a sheet pan to cook through. This can be done a day in advance. Then take them and place in a dish with sides so that you can pour a bottle of your fav BBQ sauce over the top. Bake until it is all heated through and serve.

Tomato sauce with goat cheese
This dish is so super easy and a family favorite. Take a glass pie pan and pour your favorite pasta sauce in the bottom, sprinkle 4 oz of goat cheese all around the top. Bake until heated through. This can be put in the same time as when you reheat the meatballs. Serve with toast or crackers.

Boursin Cheese
Probably the most divine and easiest appetizer you can serve. I placed it on a cheese board with some grapes, mixed nuts and dried fruit.

Baked Prosciutto Dates
If you crave salty and sweet together as well as cheesy, then trust me you must make this appetizer. Take some dried pitted dates and slice down one side. Take a small piece of parmesan or asiago and place inside the date. Wrap with half slice of thinly sliced prosciutto. Bake until the prosciutto becomes crispy. These bites are amazing. Seriously I even eat them cold they are so good.
Cheesecake Dip
Trust me I didn’t forget about dessert. I made a no bake cheesecake dip topped with chocolate chips that was divine. I served it with regular and gluten free chocolate chip cookies. Yum Yum Yum! Perfect way to round out a cheesy appetizer party.

You can lay out extra fruit, chips, and crackers as well as some other cheeses to make your cheesy appetizer party complete. Do you have a favorite cheesy appetizer recipe that you can share? We love cheese in this house and could always use a few more recipes.
