I could sit and listen for hours as kids have pretend play. They can sometimes come up with unique stories and characters that you just wonder how real it is to them. It is cool to see how even toys can help their imaginations bloom. The Cozy Comforts Kitchen is inspiring mini chefs to cook up a storm without taking up your whole playroom.

Cozy Comforts Kitchen

Cozy Comforts Kitchen ($35, Ages 3+) From American Plastic Toys. This ultra modern kitchen features the latest in realistic kitchen design including: single-cup coffee machine, raised “gas” burner that makes a boiling water sound when pots and pans are placed on it, microwave, refrigerator, oven, toaster, recycling and play bins. Multiple working doors give it a realistic feel. Efficiently engineered, the Cozy Comforts Kitchen has eliminated all screws and replaced them with snaps and press fits for easy assembly. Comes complete with kitchen accessories – bagged and ready for play; no clipping or trimming required. Standing at just over three feet tall and packed with value, the kitchen is being offered at a new, highly affordable price point of $35.

At first thought when I saw all the pieces to the Cozy Comforts Kitchen, I wanted to just walk away. As I plowed through all of the pieces it came together fairly quickly. What I loved is that it snaps together. No dealing with screws or other complicated pieces. Snap snap snap and your kids are ready to play. This is a smaller kitchen than some of the ones you see in stores, but I like that fact. It isn’t going to take up a huge space in your play area and the kids will still have fun with it. It is also very light weight. I keep it downstairs for when my nephews come over then easily move it upstairs when I don’t want it in the way anymore.

There is a lot for the kids to play with in the Cozy Comforts Kitchen. They can cook, wash, bake, and more. One thing I am not a fan of is the fridge and oven are the same open space. The kids wanted to have different shelves to put food on separate from what they were baking in the oven. The whole kitchen felt a little flimsy and doors didn’t always shut all of the way. It has held up well so far though. I love watching my little mini chefs and the plates they bring me of their amazing food and drinks 🙂 Best part is they can clean their own messes from it!!

If you are looking for a smaller, easier to put together play kitchen then I do recommend the Cozy Comforts Kitchen. Great price and your little chefs will have fun making their own pretend creations.
