Not long ago my brother gave us his old PS3 because he upgraded to a newer system. The only games that we had for it were Tiger Woods Golf and something else that wasn’t really appropriate for littles. They have learned to play the golf game some, but I am sure they would be more interested in something on their age level. They have played Disney Infinity at one of our friends house and loved it. So when they saw me unbox the the new Disney Infinity 2.0 that is available at Walmart this week, they jumped for joy that now they could play the game in our house and become superheroes on the screen!!
If you have never heard of Disney Infinity before.. here is a little run down. There is a pad that you plug in to whatever gaming system that you may have. On that pad, you can get all kinds of Disney characters to play the different games. The characters easily switch off and on so your kids can grab whatever character that they want to be that day in the video game.
In Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes, players will use real-world interactive Marvel figures to activate original storylines (Play Sets) in the virtual game worlds of some of Marvel’s most popular franchises. In the Play Sets – penned by award-winning Marvel comic writer Brian Michael Bendis – players will be able to take on the role of more than 20 Marvel characters including Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Hulk and Hawkeye to battle enemies, complete challenging missions, solve puzzles and ultimately save the world from destruction. Featuring an enhanced Toy Box mode, Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes will introduce new structured, franchise-themed adventures that players can customize and play using any in-game character from across the Disney Infinity universe. My kids have really started to get in to Marvel and superheros lately ever since I made my Captain America Inspired Cheesecake. And mommy is starting to warm up to them as well. I set up the game and played for the first 30 minutes before I would let the kids play. We all love the different adventures and places that each character can go and explore and do challenges. I can’t wait until we can really get in to the game and hopefully add more superheros to our collection. Mommy would also love some of the regular Disney characters as well 🙂
