This post was created in partnership with Harvest Snaps. I have been compensated for this post. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Snack time… It can be so difficult to find things that you really want to eat like crackers and chips, but that won’t completely ruin your diet or have so many calories that you can only eat a few bites for a regular “portion” size.  Wouldn’t it be nice to just mindlessly eat like we did when we were kids and teenagers??

Harvest Snaps are a new line of crunchy flavorful snacks that will bring a load of flavor and crunch to your snack time that you have been missing. Made from either peas or lentils, these snacks are baked( not fried), gluten free, NON-GMO, packed with protein and fiber, less fat and sodium than traditional chips or other snacks.

I was having a party with some friends and left 6 varieties of the Harvest Snaps out for them to try. You can see products at stores and think…hmmm. Sounds good, but will it have that “too healthy” taste or no taste at all? So being able to offer them to my friends at a casual gathering was the perfect place to get feedback on them. With flavors like Ceasar, Tomato Basil, Black Pepper, Wasabi Ranch or Lightly Salted you can add either a little or a lot of flavor to your snacking time. The Tomato Basil was delicious. I can see crumbling it on top of some tomato basil soup to be like a crouton. I had a great idea to use the Onion Thyme flavor. Instead of using those “french fried onions” on top of green bean casserole, you could substitute the Onion Thyme Harvest Snaps!! Yum yum yum!

Lots of my friends at the party really enjoyed sampling the snaps. They are crunchy and a great substitute for eating chips or other crackers that are loaded with junk! Could you use a little Lunchspiration? I know I sure could since that is the one meal that I usually struggle with finding what to eat that will satisfy me until dinner. So which flavor of Harvest Snaps would you most like to try?
