It amazes me how messy and dirty my laundry room gets. After all it is the place where our clothes go to get clean so why on earth is mine such an utter mess? So I decided to make a change and tackle the shoes, clutter, and laundry supplies. Here is my Easy Laundry Room Refresh that surprisingly doesn’t take a whole lot of effort so that you can get back to doing the laundry. Your laundry and laundry room will have the ultimate clean.

Storage cubes are a huge lifesaver when it comes to getting things organized and looking less clutter filled. Even if you just dump the clutter into the buckets with no real rhyme or reason, your laundry room will look better.

For my storage cubes, I did try to put certain items in certain bins.:

• For one I put in all my kids medicines, band-aids, and medical type supplies.
• In one I put all my laundry stuff like the soap(if the bottle is small enough), dryer sheets, lint roller.
• The other ones have towels and swimming stuff. We have two shelves in our laundry room so that I can put the storage cubes up and it makes the room look cleaner just with a few $4 cubes. This easy laundry refresh doesn’t have to cost a lot of money, just a little time and a few storage solutions that work.

For the shoe clutter I use the hanging shoe racks that go over the door. These are a magnificent invention. One of my laundry doors has two racks and the door still closes. The beauty of these shoe racks is that they can also be used for organizing cleaners as well. I am sure most of you have seen it on Pinterest and it really is great especially when you have young kids. You can put the hanging rack on the back of a door that locks to keep your kids from getting the cleaners. You will be able to see what cleaners you are running out of and not have to dig through a cabinet to find that certain one you use for the windows or floors.

Man look at how good that laundry room looks. I can leave the door open and not be ashamed when friends come by.

It would be a shame to dirty it up.. Well not really. I guess it is time to get in there and get my clothes clean.
