I was sent this product in order to facilitate my review. All thoughts are my own.

We all do it. We sit there and wonder if the meat we are cooking is at the proper temperature and is done to our likeness. Unless you are an ultra trained chef, very few of us “regular” people will have the eye to know that what we have in the oven or slow cooker or stove is fully done. Sure there are lots of food thermometers out there, but I am really digging the EatSmart Precision Elite Thermocouple Food Thermometer.

EatSmart Digital Thermometer

The EatSmart thermometer is for home cooks as well as professional cooks. It can read temperatures in about 3 seconds at a range of -40 degrees F up to 572F. So don’t think it is just for when you are cooking meats. If you need to see if food that you have in your fridge is kept below the “Danger Zone” of where bacteria will grow.

Digital Thermometer

What I like best:

~Probe folds down to automatically turn itself off as well as make it more compact for storage. This will also help limit it from being broken in a drawer, because I know we all have those messy drawers where all the extra kitchen stuff goes. It also helps the battery not to run down quite as quickly.

~Digital Screen is easy to read

~The probe is only 1.55 mm which limits the size of the hole made in the meat. Less juices will run out.

~Comes with carrying case

While I mostly use it for when I am cooking meats, I am sure it would come in good use for also checking the coldness of meats and other items. This is a sturdy thermometer and one I can see us using for a long time. It gives me the peace of mind that I am cooking meats at the right temperature. It is so easy to use and would make a perfect gift for any cooking enthusiast.

EatSmart has lots of products that can help you in the kitchen. Check them out!
