Oh kids…if yours are anything like mine they can blow through a whole cabinet full of dishes in one day. I have known kids that want a different cup all throughout the day or they leave them in strange places. And let’s not talk about the waste of buying big cups with lids then your kid winds up only drinking half at most so you wind up wasting lots of milk because it has sat out too long. I have longed for a way to help my kids be more responsible.

I can’t stand having to constantly do dishes… My kids are getting a little older and I am starting to hold them more responsible for their plates, cups, toys, and things that let’s face it us moms get so tired of cleaning on a daily basis. It sometimes feels like my life is on repeat.

Recently, our family has been limited to one cup a day and one plate. If the kids want something else to drink they have to finish what is in their cup first before anything else can be added. This has greatly reduced the amount of milk and juice that I have thrown out. It has also lessened the amount of dishes that I have to do each day. BUT… now there is another tool in my arsenal that has helped with the dish situation. The Kupp’..

The what??!! The Kup’p is a glass 6 oz. cup that is hugged by a silicone handle to replace those huge cups for kids to drink out of. It lessens the amount of liquid that can be put in each cup. The various colors can let each child choose their own and it be theirs for the WHOLE day! The silicone helps protect the glass from breaking as well as providing a more slip resistant handle. Provides a non toxic cup for your child to drink out of each day.

My kids loved these cute little Kupps. They knew which was was theirs for the day and my son even wanted to help wash his throughout the day. The best part is that they are dishwasher safe and the silicone does not have to be removed for when you want to really clean it at the end of the day. In just this simple little change it has helped my kids to take responsibility for one item that is theirs each and every day. And mommy likes less dishes and waste!

Check out more about the Kupp’ and where to get your hands on one or 10 🙂
