Kids are out on the fields of grass and dirt daily now, so that means my floors are getting so messy, let’s not even talk about what my van looks like. Those soccer cleats sure can hold a lot of mud! It is hard to get my kids to stop at the garage door and take their gear off before walking ALL OVER THE HOUSE. I am learning to embrace the soccer mess one day at a time knowing that 1) my kids are old enough to start cleaning after themselves and 2) I have the Libman mopping system for easy cleanup.

Tips for Embracing the Soccer Mess( or how to prevent some of it)
- Keep towels in your car to put on the ground and for wiping kids cleats outside the car
- Make kids take their cleats and gear off in the laundry room/ in the garage
- Have a broom and mop close by for quick cleanups
- Just embrace the fact that there are going to be messes from kids sports, and recruit your kids to help out
