As I told you not that long ago at the Houston Auto show, Ford unveiled its completely redesigned F-150 truck with over 700 pounds of weight removed from the outer body to give it better fuel economy while still giving you the strength and durability that you expect from a Ford.
Now at the Houston Rodeo, Ford is unveiling its 2015 line of King Ranch vehicles. This line is made to really be a working truck whether it is in the city or the country. I bet many of you didn’t know that there is actually a King Ranch that spans 825,000 acres(larger than the state of Rhode Island)! It is a fully functioning working ranch that has expanded its reach to farming as well (The Florida branch is the largest juice orange producer in the US). Ford has built a great relationship with the ranch and you can see how the King Ranch series of vehicles are at home and put to good use.
One of the coolest features I thought that even a cowboy could use in this day and age, is the SD card readers, USB outlets, as well as the 110V 3 prong outlets. So if you are out on the ranch or even cruising through the city, you can use all of your electronic devices or charge your power tools.
You will also see the signature running “W” on all of the series, even down to the wheels.
I can see how these King Ranch Series Ford trucks and SUV’s are just what a cowboy would need to get the job done while out on the ranch. With massive towing capability of the F-350, the interior room of the Expedition, to the functionality and comfort of the F-150, the whole King Ranch series is made for the working family/cowboy!
