Friday Family Fun and Pizza Memories

Friday nights in our house now are usually spent at my parents house since my husband works late. It is a time that my kids get to spend with their grandparents and so mommy doesn’t go crazy after a long week. I love that we are close enough to be able to share that time with them, create some memories, have some Friday Family Fun, and more often than not have some pizza! I remember as a kid having pizza a lot. I mean what person doesn’t like pizza??!! If you don’t then you might want to move on from this post 🙂 Even my kids who are fairly picky eaters like plain cheese pizza.

Sitting down with my kids each Friday night makes me happy that we get the time to spend together. Each week we try and watch a new movie and sometimes we watch old ones that we haven’t seen in awhile that are back from when I was a kid. I am a sucker for Disney movies for sure and being able to watch some of the classics with my kids brings me back to my own childhood. Man what I wouldn’t give just to go out in the backyard without a care in the world and make mud pies with my brother again.

These kind of nights where you just want to hang out, the last thing I want to do is get in the kitchen and cook. That is why I keep frozen pizzas on hand so that I can pop one or two in the oven and we can get back to watching our fave movies and have more Friday family fun.
