Fun and Fitness with the LeapFrog LeapBand #FitMadeFun

I was sent LeapFrog LeapBand and Clif Kid Bars in exchange for this post on behalf of Z. We had a blast having fun, getting fit, and earning rewards then having a protein treat afterward 🙂 My kids love to play, love to be outside, love games, and they also love video games. It makes me happy when they get excited about running around and getting their energy out. Why not let them get rewarded while they are active as well as having another pet to take care of (thankfully not a real one!)?

LeapFrog puts out such great products for kids. They are all so fun, spark their imagination, and help them to learn while they play. It is an activity tracker where your child can earn jules for moving and being active throughout the day. There are controls so that you can make sure that your kids are not playing with it during school or at bedtime, it will only function as a watch during those “Quiet Times”.

What makes it more than just a regular activity tracker is that there are pets that your child can play with and take care of on the LeapBand. They can unlock more animals with more activity. They can then customize their pets by color, name, and outfits. And don’t forget to feed and wash them (the kids and the pets) 🙂

This past Saturday LeapFrog hosted a country wide Fit Made Fun day. It is a day where people all over got together with their friends, showed off the new LeapBand and had lots of activities to help promote being active. We decided to try out our Fruit Shoot Knockoff game again. I have been saving all the bottles that we have been drinking so that we could have several games going at once. My kids love the challenges that they could do with their animals on the LeapBand. It was hilarious to see them waddling around and quacking like a duck. And their frog jumps were epic!! Haha Afterwards they refueled from all their play with the Clif Kid ZBar Protein.

Their favorite of course was the Peanut Butter Chocolate. I love that this is more than just a toy for the kids. It gets them moving. It gets them excited to earn jules. And they get the fun of taking care of a virtual animal all in one. Oh but don’t tell them that I used it last weekend too while I was at a race…
