The weather is turning colder and the holiday decorations are being taken out of their year long slumber. This is a time of year when friends and family come to visit and hang out a lot more often. We all have to make sure that our houses are ready to greet guests with a little sparkle, shine, and holiday spirit. Get Your House Holiday Ready for Guests
Give everything a good wipe down:
I try to keep things in my house wiped down daily. Doing a quick 15 minute wipe of crumbs and sticky surfaces will help keep you from scrambling when you have a guest come over last minute. Viva Vantage paper towels are strong and will soak up those messes quickly. I use an essential oil based cleaner that freshens the house all over and leaves a beautiful clean scent to my house.
Stock the bathroom:
The bathroom will be used when guests come over so plan to have your bathroom stocked with Cottonelle toilet paper. We have a cabinet above the guest potty that houses extra toilet paper, scented spray(for those times you need it), wet wipes, and a few other essentials that anyone would use in their own bathroom. Not everyone likes to use a general hand towel, so I also like to keep cute napkins so they can dry their hands. I highly recommend also getting a small wax warmer with scented wax blocks. It is a simple way to make sure your bathroom stays smelling nice and festive for all your guests. Just watch for little hands that might want to play in the wax!
