One year… It has been one year since my son told me that he wanted to be Flash for Halloween. So all this past year I had been looking for a costume and found one on Zulily during one of their sales. I then hid the costume in my office so that my son didn’t get a hold of it and tear it up before this year came around. So we knew what little man would be, but wasn’t sure what little miss would.. Here is how our Halloween 2014 went 🙂

As the days got closer and thanks to Captain America and Marvel coming into our house Little Miss decided(or mommy helped her decide) that she would be a superhero. We already had this pink cape from Amazon since the kids like to play dress up. I had a pink tutu from one of my races, so really we just needed a few more pieces to complete her outfit. I headed to Party City and got her a mask and Supergirl gloves. Along with other pink clothes already in her closet, both of their outfits were complete.Halloween Pink Supergirl

B had her Halloween parade on Thursday where she walked around with all the preschool classes. That day she wore a ballet top with stretchy pink pants. There were two other pink superhero girls in her class!! It was so cute.

On Friday morning, D had his parade at school. The Flash costume was a once piece outfit that really wasn’t the best for wearing to school all day so I sent him in his Captain America shirt and bought a mask and shield to be sort of in costume. Later that day he put on his Flash costume where he was so happy to be super fast like he always says to us.Halloween Captain America

There was a little pumpkin carving in the afternoon. Well mommy did some pumpkin carving. At least D helped bring out some of the inside yuck, but B would not stick her hand in hers.. hahaIMG_9712.JPG

We went over a friends house for a party and wound up staying there all night to play and go trick or treating. By 10 the kids were WORN OUT!! D begged me to go home he was so tired. Thankfully they slept in a bit on Saturday and our soccer games were later in the afternoon.

Overall it was a fun Halloween, we just missed daddy since he had to work a double. The joys of having a restaurant managers job. End of the month is inventory no matter what day it falls on. At least this one he was already at work.

Hope you all had a fun day for Halloween. Share with me your costumes! Any superheros like us?
